Hair Removal PPx™

Hair Removal PPx™ is a gentle, painless, permanent hair reduction treatment that uses a photopneumatic technology. This technology uses a revolutionary combination of pneumatic energy and broadband light. Hair Removal PPx™ is 5 times safer and more efficient than other hair removal systems. The energy is concentrated on the unwanted hair, destroying it without compromising surrounding normal tissue.

OVERVIEW
Almost any area can be treated with PPx™ with the exception of the eye area. Unwanted hair on your chin, sideburns, upper and lower lips, neck, chest, arms, legs, bikini line and back can be reduced permanently.

TREATMENT
Your skin is drawn into the treatment tip and a warm sensation is felt immediately after your skin is released back to its normal position. The treatments are painless and have been described as feeling similar to a warm massage.

One treatment on the upper lip only takes 1 minute, while underarms may take 3 minutes and larger areas, such as the legs, could take up to 20 minutes.

Hair Removal PPx™ is fast and there is no downtime. You can resume your normal activities immediately.

Every patient is different and the number of treatments will vary. However, hair grows in cycles and to affect every hair, a minimum of 4-6 treatments every 6 weeks is standard. It is important not to pluck or wax the area being treated 6 weeks prior to treatment or during the course of treatment, although you may shave. It is also important not to tan, as hyperpigmentation can occur.

RESULTS
Hairs will be present in the treated area and will fall out within 2-3 weeks following treatment. New hairs from subsequent hair cycles will need to be treated in additional sessions. Typically, several treatments are needed to achieve permanent hair reduction.
