OVERVIEW
Spider veins can be treated effectively with laser therapy and typically disappear after treatment within a period of 4-6 weeks.

TREATMENT
Laser technology now permits the safe and effective removal of spider veins on the legs, face and nose. Laser vein therapy is surprisingly easy, fast and effective. The laser light heats the vein without burning the skin above. The laser will shoot a concentrated beam of light through your surface skin that is preferentially absorbed by the hemoglobin in the vein. As the vein is heated (a process that occurs in 1/20th of a second), the walls of the vein collapse and thus blood flow is stopped.

RESULTS
Over a period of 4-6 weeks, the treated veins are reabsorbed by the body and disappear permanently.
